Creed

Music as you all know is something I cherish...

All kinds but I do tend to gravitate towards more metal/angry music then anything...

Songs speak to me on all levels but most especially when I am low...

I always seem to find something that seems to have been written specifically for me and my situation...

No band has ever made an impact on me more then the one you see above...

This here folks is my all-time favorite band - See that gorgeous specimen of a man in the front? That is Scott Stapp...

To my ears he has the best voice of anyone I have ever heard...

To my eyes well hello - Look at the picture...

To my soul they seem to reach in and find what I feel and write about it...

Nothing anyone says to me can deter how I feel about this band...

I have heard it all...

Scott Stapp has an attitude problem, He thinks he is God, He is the reason Creed broke up, Creed is a poor mans' Pearl Jam etc...

I have never seen them in concert because they never came close enough to wherever I was at the time of their touring...

In June of 04, they broke up and I will admit I was heartbroken...

I did shed tears, I also wore black and listened to nothing but Creed for the following 3 days - No I am not a teenager and yes I do know better thank you very much...

I was upset that I never got the chance to see them live...

I didn't listen to Alter Bridge because to me that was Creed with a new singer (Nothing against Myles Kennedy)...

I did however follow Scott Stapp's solo career...

Then the rumors started...

Creed was getting back together, they were in the studio making a new album, they would follow with a tour etc...

I didn't want to believe the rumors though...

Didn't want to get my hopes up...

April 27 2009 - Creed officially announced the band's reunion tour and plans for a new album (yes I still check their official website 6 years later)...

The tour kicked off Aug. 6 and will end on Oct. 14...

The name of the new album is called Full Circle...

I have 3 chances to see them within driving distance and I will say, if I have to sell a kidney, I will be at one of these concerts...

Right now I am planning on the one next month in New Orleans (also have one in Birmingham as well as Atlanta)...

My sister is pissed as all get out because she has to go with me...

She made me a promise that if they ever got back together, she would go with me (I now know she never thought they would get back together)...

My friends - It is the little things in life that put a smile on my face these days and this may seem little to some of you but to me it is a wonderful thing...
