Time to move onto my second favorite band - This is Staind...

You may notice I use a lot of their lyrics in my song snippets...

I also use a lot of Blue October (Love them as well) however this is about Staind...

The bald man sitting down is the lead singer - Aaron Lewis...

He has a wonderful voice and writes from his heart...

I have never had the chance to see them in concert either which is a shame...

So I came into work this morning and checked my email...

Any comments posted are emailed to me and I see one from my BF Alicia...

A teaser if you will so I emailed her back and then texted her not to tease me like that ;)

She wants me to come to Birmingham to see Creed instead of New Orleans...

I have been to all 3 cities actually (Atlanta being the third one) and while New Orleans is the closest (about 4 hours from here) and Birmingham is the farthest (about 6 hours), I would love to meet her in person so it would be worth the extra 2 hours of driving...

So my sister (who is trying like you know what to get out of going to this concert) asks me why Birmingham...

It is further, it is NFL opening weekend etc...(We are HUGE football fans as well)

Anything to get out of a promise made 6 years ago...

So I was on the official website to see if there were still tickets available in Birmingham...

Clicked the ticket option (floor is what I want)...

Looked on my computer and jumped out of my seat saying "OMG, OMG, OMG" to my sister...

Told her COME LOOK AT THIS (yes I was screaming)...

I had goosebumps and I was literally shaking for a few minutes...

This is what I saw that put a bounce in my step -

Opening for Creed in Birmingham on 09/12/09 is none other then Staind...

Tell me that isn't a sign...

No way is she missing this with me :)
